First introduced to Natural Therapies in 1996 and having spent the past years studying and learning more, I now am a competent therapist of a variety of vibrational modalities, including the Horstmann Technique Foundation and Higher Vibrational methods, Karmic Release and Aura Drainage, Horstmann for Horses, and LEM. I am a Reiki Practitioner and Teaching Reiki Master.

My life changed rather suddenly after I first heard of Marianne Rink. In February 2002 Marianne came to New Zealand to conduct a Level 3A Reiki Seminar. She said how it should be taken very seriously and that her past experiences have shown that it can be life-changing. The seminar went from Friday to Monday.

On Monday morning we asked Marianne to also introduce us to a healing modality called the Horstmann Technique, of which Marianne is a Practitioner and Teacher. By mid-morning Monday 25th of February 2002 my life had changed. After that weekend I realised that there is a lot more to life and that I needed to know more about it.

We dropped Marianne off at the Invercargil Airport that afternoon, from where she was flying back to Brisbane, Australia and on to Europe for more teaching engagements. I asked Marianne how it would be possible to learn the Horstmann Technique.

"Brisbane Australia where Trish Trowbridge, the Founder of the Horstmann Technique lives and works is the place to further your learning in regards to Horstmann Technique" Marianne had said. I made the decision to go and arrived in Australia 7th of March 2002.

My life since then has been one incredible experience after another. I have been all over Europe ten times, to the US, South America, back to New Zealand many times, have also seen some of Australia. I travel to accompany Marianne and to put into practice the therapies that I have learned. My special interest now lies in treating animals namely Horses, as I feel that they deserve my attention as much as do people.

I have learned that Life is full of choices. Decisions that only I am able to make. There is no such thing as a wrong choice - I learn from my experiences and that is what matters. I continue to discover and take great satisfaction in helping animals and people alike.
